Live: An Evening of Creepy Poetry

See More Times And Dates

This October, visit the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site to experience an evening of creepy poetry readings! The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site’s Live event will feature your favorite Candlelight Theatre performers as they read some of the spookiest Halloween poems throughout the historic home!

Our patron’s health and safety is of the utmost importance. Readings will be limited to 6-8 patrons per slot and will be standing only for 60 minutes to limit cross-contamination. Masks will be required and social-distancing will be strictly enforced. The actors, too, will be wearing their fashionable mask of the day. Performances will start every 15 minutes with 10 shows daily to ensure everyone gets to enjoy this creepy experience.

Guests will travel from room to room enjoying performances throughout the National Historic Landmark home of President Benjamin Harrison, including up and down two flights of narrow stairs (elevator assistance is available).

We recommend this performance for children age 10 and up due to the darkness of the home, length of the performance, and subject matter.

Please direct questions or concerns to the Special Events and Marketing Manager: (317) 631-1888 or events@bhpsite.org.
