Garden Party

Wednesday, May 20, 2020 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

This date is now locked in! Please join us for this unique and beautiful event on the evening of Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. This event is weather permitting.

The well manicured and maintained grounds have been made possible by the diligence of our amazing volunteers and partners. The gardens are planned, planted, and groomed as if the Harrison family were still here caring for them.

There are ten different vibrant sections in the gardens. In particular, the Historic Peony Garden, in partnership with the University of Michigan, features 26 species of heritage (1800s) peony rhizomes.

Join us in late May and take a stroll through the beautifully maintained grounds of our 23rd President’s home.

We encourage you to bring a picnic or your favorite beverage and spend some time in the Harrison’s gardens at this free event.

Please direct questions to the Special Events and Marketing Manager: (317) 631-1888 or events@bhpsite.org.
