Presidential (family) Egg Roll

From the White House…to Your House!

The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site’s Presidential Egg Roll has quickly become a favorite Indianapolis holiday tradition. While we’ve suspended this year’s public event on the Presidential Site’s grounds to help control the spread of COVID-19, you can still participate in some good old fashioned fun—but we’ll need your help! On April 4, we’d invite you to stage your own (Family) Egg Roll—from your very own backyard. Just have your phones and social media posts at the ready!

All you need is 1 egg, 1 spoon, a participant, and at least a 25 feet of yard, sidewalk, or driveway to roll the egg. Winner’s tape and prizes optional. We’ll be awarding our own prizes in three categories—best dressed egg rollers (12 and under), best decorated egg, and best egg course. Just remember your social distancing and keep your (Family) Egg Roll to your immediate family members to help ensure good health and public safety!

Watch our Facebook (@BenjaminHarrisonPresidentialSite) and Instagram (presbenjaminharrison)  for a Presidential Egg Roll tutorial straight from the source. Share your photos entries with us on social media by using #2020PresidentialEggRoll.

“Let those who would die for the flag on the field of battle give a better proof of their patriotism and a higher glory to their country by promoting fraternity and justice.” Benjamin Harrison
