Looking for something to enrich your typical dining experience downtown? Then look no further because the president's home is offering Civil War Dinners! This is the perfect opportunity for approximately 20 people (per evening) to engage in an unforgettable dinner conversation as interactive guests of the "General Benjamin Harrison" and his "Aide-de-Camp." The evening begins in our Carriage House for hors d'oeuvres and wine, then your group enters the Harrison family home through our grand front doors, takes a brief tour of the first floor and then assembles in the historic Library, where "General Harrison" greets your group and invites you all to join him for dinner. Charge your glass and enjoy an insightful and engaging evening of Civil War discussion with General Harrison and his Aid.

*The cost is $1,500 to book a dinner which includes all expenses and gratuity, as well as a one-year membership for all guests/couples who attend. Civil War Dinners are BY REQUEST! About Dinner

Our Civil War dinners are beautifully catered, boasting civil war dining customs and traditions. The fare includes hand-churned garlic butter and sassafras tea. From hors d'oeuvres to salad to main course to dessert, our caterer carefully selects season-appropriate foods to reflect Harrison's time. Dinner plates rest upon chargers inspired by the Civil War era. Water goblets boast the crystal design consistent with the Victorian period. We ensure through such detail that your experience is authentic, enjoyable and memorable.
