Introduction

Take a tour of this beautiful 10,000 sq.ft. Italianate Victorian family home of President Benjamin Harrison – our country’s 23rd US President (1889-1893) and Indiana’s only President. Built in 1875, the home is beautifully furnished with many of Harrison’s paintings, furniture, and other artifacts including political memorabilia. This museum home features two Special Exhibit spaces. Entrance to special exhibits is included in the price of daily tours.

Tour Format

Tours start in the Welcome Center, located in the red barn behind the home.

Tours begin on the hour and half hour, include a docent-led experience through all three floors of the Presidential Mansion, and last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Entrance to special exhibits and LIVE! events are included in the price of daily tours.

Daily Hours

We are open Monday-Saturday from 10am-3:30pm, and Sunday from 12-3:30pm.

Please note: Tour format and hours are subject to change on dates that we have special events.
