Our Welcome Center is open to all visitors! Inside, you’ll find exhibit space, The President’s Cabinet gift shop, and free self-guided resources including walking tours of our historic grounds and the Old Northside neighborhood.
The Delaware Street home of President Benjamin Harrison is open for guided tours only.
All tours of the residence are led by our highly trained volunteer docents. This ensures a deeper, more engaging experience as you explore rooms filled with original Harrison artifacts. Our docents help bring the space to life and protect the history we’re proud to share.
Tour Schedule:

Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, but tour capacity is limited. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to ensure availability.

Directions + Parking
The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site is located at 1230 N. Delaware St. Indianapolis, IN 46202.
From Southbound I-65
Meridian Street exit #113, proceed east after exit (straight), cross Meridian and Pennsylvania to Delaware, turn left and proceed north to 1230 N. Delaware. The museum is the first house on your left.
From Northbound I-65
Pennsylvania Street exit #113, turn left from exit on to Pennsylvania, turn left again on to 11th Street, and turn left again on to Delaware Street. The museum is the first house on your left.
Parking
Parking is free and non-permit along Delaware Street or in our small parking lot off of 13th Street.
Parking unavailable in the REI/Landmark lot under the overpass and in the lots assigned to apartment tenants. Please be aware that you risk being towed in these locations.
Attention Guests
Due to inclement weather, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site will be on a two hour delay on January 28, with tours at 11:00, 12:00, and 2:00.
