Benjamin Harrison's Burial Site

Crown Hill Cemetery

Harrison’s impact and legacy can still be seen around Indianapolis. You can visit his grave in Crown Hill Cemetery. On New York St, between Meridian and Pennsylvania Streets in downtown Indianapolis, you can visit Harrison’s full length bronze sculptural portrait. The sculpture was designed by Henry Bacon, sculpted by Charles Henry Niehaus, and cast by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The statue was dedicated October 27, 1908.

Benjamin Harrison is a public artwork by American artist Charles Henry Niehaus, located in University Park in downtown Indianapolis. It is a full-length bronze sculptural portrait of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president, the only U.S. president from Indiana.
