Constitution Week Kickoff

Join the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site and the Daughters of the American Revolution to celebrate the start of Constitution Week! This ceremony will be among many throughout the country kicking off the week-long commemoration of the constitution, a tradition started in 1956 when DAR petitioned Congress to set aside September 17-23 annually to be dedicated for the observance of Constitution Week.

The public is invited to hear remarks from representatives from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and local and state government at the Sarah Evans Barker Citizenship Plaza on the south side of the Presidential Site property. No tickets are required for this free event.
