On Saturday, June 1, 2013 the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site hosted the 19th annual Wicket World of Croquet®. Players of all ages and skill levels shot the wicket in the tournament and the croquet mixer.

Wicket World of Croquet Tournament

Thank you to the 80 players who filled our lawn, dressed to the nines in game whites and playing fabulous rounds of croquet.  

This year teams could choose to participate in one of two brackets: Competitive Traditional Six Wicket Tournament to vie for the Virginia Z. Willkie Champion's Cup or Leisure Tournament playing Golf Croquet.

Swinging Croquet Mixer

Following the tournament, mixer guests learned to play croquet and enjoyed the high life on the south lawn of the president's home.  Thanks to 3 Days in Paris for their delicious crepe station, popcorn from Just Pop In, Sun King beer and Barefoot wine for making this event such a success.

Money raised at this event supports the educational programming at the home of the only president from the State of Indiana.
