Celebrate the season with Candlelight Theatre! Adapted for the stage by Resident Playwright James Trofatter, A Dickens Christmas brings classic tales by Charles Dickens to life throughout the home of President Benjamin Harrison.

Journey from room to room as familiar characters, heartwarming stories, and timeless holiday classic lessons unfold. Filled with humor, wonder, and the spirit of Christmas, each scene invites audiences into the rich storytelling tradition that has made Dickens a holiday favorite for generations – in fact, several of Dickens’ works can be found among the nearly 3,000 books collection of the 23rd president!

Performed within the intimate setting of the National Historic Landmark home of America’s Hoosier President, A Dickens Christmas offers a festive of live theatre unlike any other – where historic rooms become stages and familiar stories come alive just steps away from the audience.

Group buyouts for up to 15 are available at a discounted price. Please contact event director Lindsey Beckley at lbeckley@bhpsite.org to inquire.
