An Evening with the Mexican Consulate

Join the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site and the Mexican Consulate of Indianapolis to explore the 200 year history of United States – Mexico diplomatic relations. The evening will start at 5:30 PM with refreshments in the Welcome Center, where guests can explore the special exhibit Residential to Presidential: 200 Years with the Harrisons. Guests will then move to the 3rd floor exhibit space inside the home to hear Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site Vice President of Curatorship & Exhibition Jennifer Capps and Indiana Historical Society Curator of Multicultural Collections Nicole Martinez-LeGrand speak on the surprising connections with the 23rd president, who worked to strengthen the bonds of friendship and trade between the countries of North and South America.
