This event puts you at the front door of history! This free family friendly event is the perfect way to teach your family more about civics and the political process in the United States.
Get a glimpse of the Harrison family as they eagerly await results from the 1888 presidential election and learn if they’ll be the newest occupants of the white house. Is General Harrison ready to become President? What does his wife, Caroline, think of the over 80 speeches he gave to more than 80,000 people from their front porch during the campaign?
First floor tours will be available at 10 AM, 11 AM, 12PM, 1PM, and 2PM. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome providing there is space available.
Reserve your spot“The emancipation proclamation was heard in the depths of the earth as well as in the sky; men were made free, and material things became our better servants.” Benjamin Harrison
