Victorian Floriography Workshop

The evening begins with a tour through the Presidential Site’s gardens, then you’ll learn how flowers became a secret language capable of expressing what words could not.

From there, we’ll explore the art of floriography in a relaxed, modern way—connecting Victorian tradition to the joy of choosing stems with meaning. With guidance and plenty of inspiration, you’ll build your own floral arrangement designed to send a personal message. You may even select freshly cut peonies from our gardens, a classic symbol of romance and affection.

Sip wine, snack on charcuterie, and enjoy a hands-on creative experience that blends history, beauty, and imagination. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a gorgeous arrangement, a take-home vase, and a new appreciation for the stories flowers can tell.
