Our historic peonies have blossomed so that means Indy is looking better than ever- we want to see your gardens!
From Tuesday, May 26- Friday, May 29th we want to celebrate the wonderful gardens around Indy.
Take a trot around your neighborhood, enjoy a peaceful moment in your backyard and if you live in the neighborhood stop by and smell the flowers at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. Be sure you share your moments with us using #HarrisonGardenParty.

The well manicured and maintained grounds have been made possible by the diligence of our amazing volunteers and partners. The gardens are planned, planted, and groomed as if the Harrison family were still here caring for them.
There are ten different vibrant sections in the gardens. In particular, the Historic Peony Garden, in partnership with the University of Michigan, features 26 species of heritage (1800s) peony rhizomes.
“When and under what conditions is the black man to have a free ballot? When is he in fact to have those full civil rights which have so long been his in law?” Benjamin Harrison
