Treasures of the Harrison Collection

Thursday, March 20, 2025 5:30 - 7:00 pm EST

What do a diamond and horn adorned chair, bejeweled dog whistle, and campaign memorabilia that has been to outer space have to do with each other?

Discover Treasures of the Harrison Collection, an exclusive special exhibit showcasing some of the most extraordinary and unexpected artifacts from the home of an American President. Drawing from our nationally-significant collection of nearly 11,000 artifacts, be mesmerized by glimmering solid gold medallions, a sterling silver statue made from 25,000 silver dimes, as well as handcrafted treasures from Tiffany, Rookwood, and Limoges. See First Lady Caroline Harrison’s painted and gilded china, and original documents from founders and presidents alike—including an original inauguration speech, with notes in our 23rd president’s own hand. You won’t want to miss out!

Come adorned in your finest – whether that means rocking the latest Air Jordan’s or dazzling in your finest ball gown. There’s no strict dress code for the Treasures of the Harrison Collection opening, but we encourage you to let your style shine! Guests will enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres in the Welcome Center before they explore the exhibit and mingle in the 3rd floor special exhibit space.
