Framed pen and ink drawing of the Civil War battle of Resaca, GA., May 15, 1864, by G. H. Blakeslee ( 129th Illinois Company G ). Black ink and hand colored in red, blue, black, and yellow. Bottom center "Resaca" in faded red with "May 15, 1864" in black ink to the left written vertically. 15th is faded. Drawing shows several regiments of men at the battle. Each regiment has a flag with regiment number and state including "70 IND", "129 Ill", "79 OVI" (Ohio Volunteer Infantry), and "105 Ill".
